Wall Street Freaks
Where was the panic, press conferences when crude oil was $147 and the working class was paying over for $4 gas? It didn’t seem like a big deal to the billionaires on Wall Street then, but on a day like today when their money gets touched, they freak.
I feel they’ll eventually get their money, and honestly I want them to, but it’s interesting to see how everyone reacts. Today’s bailout rejection was like the little boy who cried wolf. The government bails everyone out all the time, pissing off the working class, then when there’s a bailout that’s extremely important, they say no.
I think everything will be OK, but it’s interesting and historic.
